World Changers Challenge: South Africa 2013

Building on a successful pilot trip, Peter Bailey took over as team leader in 2013, taking another group of six young people out to Durban. Focusing on the skills and knowledge the team could bring to South Africa, the group worked on projects which would add value to our partners and explored issues the country faces in more detail.

Loughborough School of Business and Economics kindly agreed to sponsor Peter Bailey and Matt Pradhan for the 2013 programme with a donation from their alumni fund, the Fund for Excellence – established to support excellence, helping to stimulate and motivate future leaders to enable them to achieve their full potential.

Loughborough University Alumni kindly agreed to sponsor £300 towards each Loughborough participant for the 2013 programme with a donation from their alumni fund – established to fund projects that can have lasting impact, making students more employable in the process. 

Fineprint kindly provided the South Africa Challenge with stationary for the programme including donations of materials to the centre on the ground. Fineprint is a bespoke printing solutions company based in Oxford.
