In what ways has South Africa Challenge changed your outlook on life or world view?

It made me realise that we are only living one life. We can only make the most out of it and ourselves, if we try to find our purpose. Being aware of yourself and the world around you is the first and most important step in identifying your purpose.

On reflection, what did you learn about yourself, others, or South Africa?

I learned about myself that I can achieve much more, if I push my self even further than I thought I already did.
I realised that every social entrepreneur brings his/her very own touch to a project and even, if everyone were to do the same project, it would have different outcomes.
About South Africa I found out that the issues that we have been discussing at school and where ever are actually way more complex and cannot be understood if you haven't experienced it.

Which parts of the South Africa Challenge did you enjoy the most?

Meeting different people and organisations  and working with them.

How do you think South Africa Challenge will influence what you do in your future? Or how has it already influenced you since returning?

Especially, the part about vision and values will lead me in my future much more than it has before. The strategies to set up a successful project will hopefully enable me to set up more of this kind.
It will probably also encourage me to do even more networking and putting myself into situations where I can grow (outside my comfort zone).

What would you say to future participants?

The more you commit to it, listen to the people and try to open yourself up to everything, the greater your transformation will be. Just enjoy it from the bottom of your heart and let others inspire you!

If you had to summarise the South Africa Challenge experience in one paragraph, what would you say?

The South Africa Challenge inspired me in many ways. I learned a lot about myself and the country. It made me realise many things and it was a big step in my life. One of the best things I've done in my life!
